Prior to establishing CyberCenter, he built a start-up Technology Advisory business and prior to that he served as the General Manager for SHI International UK, amassing a total of 17 years with the company. Darren initially joined SHI UK in 2004 as a Sales Executive, where he achieved remarkable success by working closely with global Enterprise customers before ascending to Senior Management.
During his tenure, SHI UK experienced substantial growth in both revenue and market presence, expanding to 180 employees and generating over £250 million in revenue. Darren’s strategic leadership was instrumental in driving customer success, ensuring that clients not only received effective solutions but also achieved their business goals. His commitment to customer success fostered long-term relationships and enhanced SHI’s reputation for excellence.
Darren resides in Milton Keynes with his wife and two children. He is an avid sports enthusiast, enjoying activities such as Hyrox, Cycling, and Golf. His dedication to both his career and personal passions exemplifies a well-rounded and dynamic individual.

Throughout his tenure, Stephen became a familiar face in both Government and the Private Sector, driving commercial and governance success. With expertise in macro-economics, geopolitics, security, and regulatory risks, his insights consistently propelled commercial performance.
As a Privy Councillor and former Security Minister, Stephen played a pivotal role in shaping the UK’s national security strategies. His contributions as a senior Parliamentarian were significant, from chairing the House of Commons Regulatory Reform Select Committee to his influential membership in the Liaison Select Committee, directly holding the Prime Minister accountable. He also brought his financial acumen to the House of Commons Finance Committee, overseeing substantial budgets and authoring The Independent McPartland Review on Cybersecurity as a driver of economic growth.
In the commercial world, Stephen’s leadership shone brightly. He founded GreenCyberResearch Ltd and served as Chairman of a Digital Bank and Non-Executive Director of a nationwide UK retail company during its growth phase and buyout. His strategic advice has guided an FCA-licensed VC fund, a FTSE-listed professional services company, a trade association, and a life sciences company. As former chair of a national ombudsman and with over 12 years of board-level experience, Stephen’s commitment to strong governance and growth is evident.
